Job Description:

"Nurses Group Homecare” is seeking for an experienced Deputy Care Manager with a strong care background and a passion for high-quality care to join our Yeovil based Office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Deputy Manager seeking the next stage in their career to join the team and work towards becoming the Registered Manager. The successful candidate will:

Job Duties

  • Assisting with the efficient and effective day-to-day operation of our client providing quality care to meet the client’s needs and outcomes.
  • You will work closely with the Registered Manager and take on the Management duties in their absence.
  • Undertaking the direct supervision and line management responsibilities of the domiciliary and live-in care workers as detailed by the Registered Care Manager.
  • Ensuring that the care and support provided by care workers is of a continually high standard and supports the client in a person-centred and strength-based approach.
  • To assist in the initial assessments of new clients and ensure regular reviews of care plans and risk assessments are maintained.
  • Ensuring all aspects of the company business is in line with CQC guidelines and that continued CQC compliance is maintained.
  • Reporting any crucial issues to the senior management team in a timely and effective manner.
  • Being flexible to meet the needs of the service and cover care calls when the business requires
  • Recruiting and training new care staff

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Flexibility to meet the demands of the business including participating in an on-call rota.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Yeovil, BA22 8RN: Consistent commuting or a commitment to relocate prior to commencing work is essential.

Nurses Group Connect Homecare are expanding and are recruiting for an experienced Care Coordinator to become part of a small and very friendly Homecare provider based in Yeovil. We provide support to individuals in their homes with activities of daily life that they need some support with.

The Care Coordinator will work alongside the management team, preparing weekly rotas and ad-hoc changes to existing rotas, ensuring all service users receive regular carers at their requested time and that the highest standards of care are maintained.

Ensure that our team of support staff are providing practical assistance and support to our clients enabling them to maintain their independence Liaise with representatives of organizations involved in the social network of our clients

Comply with all policies of the organization, as appropriate. Ensure that the day-to-day care services are operated in accordance with health & safety legislation and current statutory regulation guidance on best practice.

The successful Care Coordinator will have: NVQ Level 3 in Care, Good IT skills and competency in Microsoft Office, Good verbal and written English skills, good leadership and organizational skills, good time management, able to work alternative weekends ,Full Clean Driving License, and Experience in a similar role within Domiciliary Care.
